I'm not an expert but I have dealt with depression most of my adult life. After the birth of our third child, I noticed that it was easier for me to fall into my "spells". People who suffer from depression look like you and me...it can affect anyone. We learn to cope with our depression, and yes we even lie to ourselves, telling ourselves we are "fine" or "ok".

Trying to evaluate and treat myself (self diagnosis again for the umpteenth billion time), I read an article that helped me realize the biggest thorn in my side at the time....Stress!
Ok yea, we all have stress - I know this. I think however it's in the way we deal with it. I have gotten to the point in my life where I recognize the signs earlier and try to get a jump start on the "road to healthy".
So for now, going to take it one day at a time, one doughnut at a time, one drink at a time and keep on keepin' on!. lol
